Youth Workshop on Sustainability – A Step Toward Local Action — Lithuania

On January 5th, 2025, a youth sustainability workshop took place in Kaunas as part of the UxGE project. The event brought together young people to learn about environmental issues and explore how they can lead change in their communities.

Participants worked in small groups to brainstorm and develop practical ideas such as recycling programs, clean-up events, and community gardens. Each group presented their plans, focusing on impact, resources, and community involvement.

The workshop was a success, with active participation and strong interest in turning ideas into action. It effectively raised awareness of sustainability and the project’s goals at the local level, engaging the right target group and encouraging future initiatives.
