Youth Debate on Environmental Responsibility Held in Nicosia
On 10 February 2025, CARDET organized a local youth debate at GC School in Nicosia, Cyprus, as part of the UxGE project, funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
The activity brought together 20 participants, including high school students and youth leaders, to discuss critical environmental topics such as:

The role of governments and individuals in environmental protection
Using an interactive debate format, participants explored key questions including:

Who holds more responsibility—governments or individuals—in combating climate change?

Should there be policy measures such as restrictions on tourism to protect the environment?

The debate provided an opportunity for young people to:
