Last July, we met with Federico due to his interest in the local and international projects in which we collaborate. During the meeting we discussed possible collaborations to promote sustainability and responsible consumption through culture and education. He shared his interest in integrating sustainable practices in the operation of the bookshop, highlighting the promotion of second-hand books, the recycling of materials and the use of products with ecological materials. In this sense, he proposed to collaborate in initiatives that raise awareness in the community about responsible consumption and care for the environment. For her part, Ana Belén Domínguez presented the association’s projects, especially United for a Green Europe, an initiative focused on training young people to become active leaders in the creation of a more sustainable and inclusive Europe. Both sides agreed on the importance of involving young people in environmental action and promoting more responsible citizenship. It was concluded that collaboration between the cultural sector and social organisations is key to promoting a greener future.
