Empowering Youth Leaders: UxGE Online Training Course Evaluation and Future Prospects

On the 10th of October 2024, The Rural Hub hosted a face-to-face evaluation meeting for the UxGE Online Training Course (OTC) in Virginia, Co. Cavan, Ireland. The meeting brought together 12 participants, including youth leaders and young people, primarily aged between 19 and 30, with some participants aged 31–40. The event aimed to gather feedback on the 60-hour OTC, which focuses on leadership, critical thinking, entrepreneurship, and environmental challenges. During the meeting, participants engaged in key discussions to evaluate the effectiveness of the course. Feedback was positive, with participants praising the interactive multimedia elements, such as videos and quizzes, which significantly enhanced the learning experience. Certificates of Completion were awarded, and the meeting concluded with a discussion on future activities, including workshops and mobility  opportunities in Brussels.
