Engaging Youth for a Greener Future: CARDET’s Event with Latsia High School Students under the UxGE Project

On 25 September 2024, CARDET hosted an engaging event with students from Latsia Highschool as part of the “United for a Green Europe (UxGE)” project, under the Erasmus+ European Youth Together programme. The event introduced students to the inspiring goals of the UxGE project, highlighting its first major milestone—the United for a Green Europe Online Training Course, which students were encouraged to explore and benefit from. A dynamic “World Café” activity followed, where students brainstormed pressing environmental issues such as extreme weather, plastic waste, and overconsumption. Through lively discussions, they shared their thoughts on the causes, consequences, and potential solutions, taking an active role in shaping a greener, more sustainable future.
