Raising Awareness and Fostering Collaboration: UxGE Multiplier Event at Virginia Library
On August 23, our first UxGE Multiplier Event took place in Virginia Library, gathering a diverse group of stakeholders from youth work, education, training, and volunteering sectors. The event brought together local organisations we’ve collaborated with in the past, as well as newcomers eager to participate in future activities.
The session began with a networking reception, followed by a detailed presentation outlining the UxGE project, its outputs, the online training course, and upcoming plans. Participants then engaged in roundtable discussions and open debates on sustainability and the environment, which were enriched by a series of sustainability-themed arts and crafts activities. Questions and reflections from the audience highlighted the project’s relevance and impact.
The event successfully raised awareness about the UxGE project and the Erasmus+ Programme. Stakeholders, particularly from rural areas, emphasised the importance of sustainability, noting the value of the upcoming training in Málaga and the visit to Brussels. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing interest in future collaboration.
This event not only generated interest in the UxGE project but also educated participants on Erasmus+ and its funding mechanisms, further strengthening the project’s reach and relevance at the local level.
